DDA & Trakhees
DDA and Trakhees Approval Services
Not every plot in Dubai is regulated by Dubai Municipality. The Dubai Development Authority (DDA) governs the TECOM-developed communities and several other zones, and Trakhees regulates areas under the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, including Jebel Ali Free Zone. Each has its own submission process and requirements.
As a DEWA approved contractor in Dubai, we check which authority covers your plot, prepare the electrical and MEP documents to its format, and coordinate the related DEWA approval where power or metering changes are involved.

Common questions
How do I know whether my unit falls under DDA or Trakhees?
The affection plan and your free zone licence normally show this. If you are unsure, send us the documents and we will confirm.
Does DEWA still supply power in these free zones?
In most of these areas DEWA remains the electricity provider, so load and metering changes still need a DEWA approval alongside the free zone permit.
Can you handle JAFZA warehouse electrical upgrades?
Yes. We prepare the electrical design and coordinate the authority and DEWA approvals for the upgrade.
